Cairns Birding Tour

Cairns has a rich birdlife and is a prefect base from which to start exploring the Wet Tropics.  Cairns has beaches, mangroves, lowland rainforest, swamp, etc... This diverse range of habitats guarantees a fantastic birding experience in and within 30min from the city centre. More than 50 species can be targeted in a half day and around 80 species in a full day of birding. This tour will take you to some hide away spots that will unlock this diversity and give you the opportunity to get close up with some of the Wet Tropics' most colourful birds.

Half day (5hrs) - starting at dawn or 1pm (depending on the season)

Full day (10 hrs) - starting at dawn
